paste paper is the decorated end paper that was used in the art of bookbinding.
The paper was made by brushing colored paste onto paper and then drawing
patterns and designs onto the paste with combs, stamps, scrapers, forks,
and any other tool one could find. Today bookbinders still use paste papers
to embellish books however, paste papers are also used in a variety of
